I think if you only allow one swimmer per Lane, every other lane, and you require swimmers to arrive in costume and leave in costume, the risk should be pretty low. I believe you probably stand more chance of catching it doing the weekly shop in the supermarket then you would at a public swimming pool because of the chlorine. Just my view for what it’s worth. When you used to go swimming you put your feet in a mini pool before going into the swimming pool, from changing rooms Why did this stop?

And let’s not forget the All I need today is a little bit of Texans and a whole lot of Jesus shirt changing room facilities which will be a viral playground.  The chlorine might kill the virus in the water but you will still be able to catch it from the breaths of all the swimmers around you as you breathe it in before it drops onto the water. Arrive in their costumes is all well and good, but you will still have to put other clothes on before you leave, so not really sure of the benefit there. So, you arrive with your swimming togs in your clothes. Fair enough. I do that sometimes anyway. However, when you get out of the water, soaking wet, what are you supposed to do if there’s nowhere to get dry and remove your wet togs?
